What are eye bag correction fillers?
An eye bag is a bulge of orbital fat that has pushed forward through a weakened septum beneath the lower eyelid. It is different from a hollow: a hollow is a valley, a bag is a hill. What makes a bag obvious is not the fat itself but the groove beneath it, where the bulge meets the flat cheek and casts a shadow. Eye bag correction fillers work on that groove. A small amount of soft hyaluronic acid gel placed deep along the lower edge of the bag and across the tear trough raises the valley to the level of the hill, so light falls evenly and the bag is camouflaged.
This works well for mild and moderate bags with reasonable skin. It does not suit large bags, very loose skin, or bags that worsen dramatically in the morning from fluid, because adding volume under a heavy bag can make the lid look heavier still. How eye bag correction fillers work at Oaro

1. Consultation & diagnosis
We assess the size of the fat pad, the skin quality, any fluid component and the depth of the groove beneath the bag. We photograph you and explain honestly whether filler can camouflage the bag or whether Agnes RF or blepharoplasty is more appropriate, and we plan volumes and product.
2. Treatment
After numbing cream, a cannula is passed from a lateral entry point and gel is placed deep along the groove below the bag and in the tear trough, with constant comparison between sides. The session takes 20–30 minutes.

- Sleep with your head raised for two to three nights to limit fluid under the eye.
- Avoid salt, alcohol and saunas for 48 hours; this area swells easily.
- Do not rub the eyes or press the area for 48 hours.
- Bruising at the entry point fades within a week; makeup can cover it after 24 hours.
- Report any heaviness that persists beyond two weeks, severe pain or visual symptoms.
