Collagen boosters, also called biostimulators, are injectables whose main action is to stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. They differ from hyaluronic acid fillers, which hold shape by their own volume. 1. Consultation & diagnosis
Your dermatologist examines skin thickness, laxity and volume loss, reviews medical history and allergies, and recommends a specific product, dose and number of sessions in writing.
2. Treatment session
After numbing, the product is injected at the planned depth: superficially for Juvelook, into the deep dermis or above the fat for Sculptra and diluted Radiesse. Massage follows where needed. The session lasts 20–30 minutes.
3. Aftercare & follow-up
Written aftercare covers massage, sun protection and what to avoid. Reviews are scheduled at four to six weeks between sessions and at three months after the course when the collagen response can be judged.
