What are Belotero fillers?

Belotero is a Swiss-made hyaluronic acid range known for one particular strength: the ability to be placed very close to the skin surface. Its CPM (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix) manufacturing creates a gel with zones of higher and lower cross-linking inside a single cohesive mass, so the product spreads evenly into the dermis instead of sitting as a discrete bead. That makes Belotero a good choice for fine lines in thin skin, where firmer particle gels can show as ridges or cause the bluish Tyndall effect.

The family is graded by density. Belotero Soft treats superficial lines such as crow's feet, forehead lines and vertical lip lines. Belotero Balance handles moderate lines, the tear trough and lip definition. Belotero Intense corrects deeper nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and Belotero Volume is used for cheek and chin volume. A newer formulation, Belotero Revive, is a microinjection skin-quality product that combines HA with glycerol for hydration and elasticity.

What to expect

1. Consultation & diagnosis

We examine the depth and cause of each line, pinch-test skin thickness, and look at how the line changes with expression. We then explain whether Belotero alone, a firmer HA in a deeper layer, or a toxin-plus-filler combination will give the most natural result, and we agree on products and volumes.

2. Treatment

Following numbing cream and antiseptic, the gel is placed with a fine needle using serial puncture or linear threading in the superficial or mid dermis. Sessions are short, usually 15–30 minutes, and most patients return to work immediately.

3. Aftercare & follow-up

You receive written aftercare in your care notebook and a review at four weeks. Because Belotero is placed superficially, we check especially for evenness and add tiny amounts where needed.

Aftercare

Aftercare

• Avoid rubbing or pressing the treated skin for 24 hours; superficial product is easier to displace.
• Skip makeup for 12 hours and sun exposure, saunas and alcohol for 24 hours.
• Small pinpoint marks or faint redness along the injection line normally settle within a day or two.
• Do not have microneedling, lasers or facials over the area for two weeks.
