Planning Skin Treatments Around a Seoul Trip: A Dermatologist's Timeline

International patients often arrive in Apgujeong with a list of treatments and a return flight in five days. Some of that list is realistic; some of it is not, and a good dermatology clinic will tell you which is which. This timeline reflects how we plan treatments at Oaro Dermatology Clinic for visitors to Seoul.

1. Before you fly: send photos and dates

Message us with your concerns, a few clear photos and your travel dates. We reserve a consultation early in your stay and tell you in advance which treatments are likely to be suitable, so you can budget time and money. Bring a list of medications, previous treatments and any allergies.

2. Day one or two: consultation and no-downtime treatments

The dermatologist examines your skin and writes the plan. Treatments with no downtime can often start the same day: Pico toning, Thermage FLX, Ultherapy, botulinum toxin, skin boosters and most fillers.

3. Early in the stay: anything with healing time

Treatments that cause redness or peeling belong at the start of a trip: CO2 or Erbium resurfacing, Potenza, Agnes for acne, and thread lifting. Allow five to seven days before flying for ablative lasers, and avoid saunas, alcohol and strong sun afterwards.

4. The last two days: review and sun-safe sightseeing

We like to see you once more before you leave to check healing, adjust home care and hand over written aftercare in English. Follow-up continues by message after you are home. Expats living in Seoul can instead spread sessions over months on a maintenance plan.

Conclusion

Plan the consultation first, the downtime second and the glow last. Our international patients guide covers booking, payment and directions to Cheongdam Tower, or you can send your dates now.
