Where are the filler clinics in Seoul?
Almost all of Seoul's aesthetic clinics are south of the Han River in Gangnam-gu, concentrated in four walkable neighbourhoods. Apgujeong, around Rodeo Street and Apgujeong Rodeo Station, is the oldest centre of Korean dermatology and plastic surgery; it has many established, doctor-owned clinics in mid-rise buildings and a calmer, residential-luxury feel. Cheongdam, immediately east, is the boutique district: designer flagships, quieter streets and smaller clinics that often serve entertainment-industry clients, with prices to match. Sinsa and Garosu-gil, to the west, mix cafes and fashion with a dense cluster of mid-size clinics popular with younger patients and tourists. Gangnam Station, further south, is the highest-volume zone, with large multi-floor clinics, heavy advertising and the widest price range, from budget promotions to premium.

- Avoid the sauna and jjimjilbang for 48 hours after filler, however much they feature in your Seoul itinerary.
- Keep walking tours gentle on the day of treatment and avoid pressing on treated areas, including with camera straps or hats.
- Skip alcohol for 48 hours to reduce bruising.
- Carry your aftercare sheet and receipt in case you need advice at another clinic or from a doctor at home.
