Thermage FLX Body is the body application of the Thermage FLX radiofrequency system. It uses a larger body tip that covers more skin per pulse, allowing areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, inner thighs, buttocks and the skin above the knees to be treated in a single visit. The radiofrequency current heats the dermis and the fibrous network in the subcutaneous layer, causing an immediate contraction of collagen and a longer remodelling phase that improves firmness and texture over three to six months.
It is important to be clear about what the treatment does. Thermage FLX Body tightens skin; it does not remove significant fat or replace surgery for excess skin after major weight loss. It is most useful for mild to moderate laxity, post-pregnancy abdominal skin, crepey upper arms and the softening above the knees that appears from the forties onward.

1. Consultation & diagnosis

2. Treatment
A return pad is placed and a treatment grid is marked on the skin. The body tip delivers cooled radiofrequency pulses across the grid in several passes, with extra passes over the loosest zones. You report the heat level throughout so the setting stays effective and comfortable.

No. It tightens skin; fat reduction needs a different treatment, which your dermatologist can combine with it if appropriate.
How many sessions are needed?
